Moving from one acre to five!

We just put in an offer for the most perfect property! It's only three miles from my house now, and it's 4.8 acres! The house isn't much and there is no fence yet, but once it is all fenced in the possibilities are endless! I cannot wait to dig up a pond and build a nice secure goose house! And make little paddocks for the babies! And do you know what more land means? Another LGD puppy!!

I am beyond excited!

Congratulations on the move. That 'not much' house is 3X what we live in.

That's true, it is probably huge compared to some houses. It's a big down size to us! Except for the yard! One acre lot with a 4500 sq ft house to a 4.8 acre lot with a 2400 sq ft house! I feel so grateful for the opportunity to live on more land though, that's all I've wanted!
