I live in Stamping Ground, KY, which is about 10mi west as the crow flies.

I've got a friend from HS who lives in Stamping Ground. They raise Boer goats.

We raise goats too, so I probably know them.

Thank you EweSheep I hope that light keeps the snow and storms away.

Several reasons...

hubby's family is there and my family is in western NC and Florida. My father has been in and out of the hospital much over the last few years and I want to be closer. Hubby was asked to write a Ranger program for the US Army Cadet Corp. so he did and has been invited to be an instructor there...which is in Millersburg, KY.

Also, we found a great house and property for less than half of what we could buy out here for...so everything pointed on this being the time. We did not want Cheyenne going to high school here so a move was inevitable.

Bonus...I will only be about 5 hour from speckledhen so I can go and steal her birds much easier....I have been fighting with Delta for 2 years now on their silly rules that prohibited me from taking Suede on the plane..even first class. I mean can you imagine such restrictions being in place? I mean we are talking the Suedenator of all creatures, the 14 lb blue tank...not just any chicken.
