When you candle eggs and have space to move eggs around to different places than they were in, do you move them or put them back in their original spot? I've always set mine back in the same spot but this last time I candled, I moved all the eggs around like a hen would do when she's turning them. Good or bad idea?

I like to switch their places often, so that they all incubate evenly. Some turners move them for you though, like the NR 360's turner.
Moving them will help eliminate any that are "cooking" unevenly due to hot/cold spots.

Thats what I was kinda thinking and the reasoning behind moving them around. I was just hoping I didn't mess up cause I dunno which ones were where lol.

My incubator has a turner, but has weird hot and cold spots so I prioritize my eggs to put the favorites and the ones with the highest chance of survival to be in the best spots. And I change their places within each group for more even cooking (but keep the preferred eggs in the optimal areas).
