I've decided to hatch some chicks for a science fair at my school. Unfortunately after I set them, I discovered I will be out of town when they hatch. I've decided to move them(in the incubator) to my partner's( for the science project) house. Do you think the eggs could survive a 7-minute drive? Would this be safe or might it kill them? Maybe if I put cotton padding around each one???

P.S. I set them on March 11, so they are on day 14 if that helps (would it be better to move them when they are as old as possible...like day 16 or something?)

Any advice is much appreciated :)

Have you ever watched a hen arranging her eggs. She flops them over and scractches at them and rolls them. I doubt you will have any issues.
