Moving lone teen chicken out of the house

I just wanted to give an update on what is going on with my chicken from this feed. Peepers the suspect rooster is a hen.... We went to the vet and it was verified that he is actually a she so I am glad I didn't get rid of her. Bleu the little special one is also a hen and is bantam. She still stays in the house with special care but we have a 3rd black astralorp hen to keep her company I think we are going to try moving them to the coop in the coming weeks. Also we are getting ready to renovate a shed we have into a bigger more sturdy space for my three babies.

I will work on getting pictures tomorrow of Bleu.i left over the weekend and when I came back I swear she has so many more feathers and is a totally different chicken. The feathers on her legs and feet are even longer and more full.

Don't you just love a happy ending? Thanks for posting the pictures. Wow, Peepers really does look like a cockerel! That would have been my guess! I hope she proves herself by laying an egg really soon. Her comb is turning red which is a sign she's coming into laying.
