Moving Muscovy hatchlings

Checked on the nest this morning and I saw some with cracks and heard peeping!

2 have been hatched successfully so far and I found a dead one which I removed.

Making progress!! Few more are in the process of hatching.

Unfortunately I'm going out of town tomorrow, but my husband will be around to keep an eye on things. Can't wait to see the babies when I get back!

My own ducks would have bitten the heck out of me if I tried something like this! And she's a feral? You must have made quite the impression on her!
