Moving my hen to a coop

I have a hen who began brooding today, so I expect babies around April 6th. I have a flock of range chickens that just showed up at the house 2 years ago and this year I built a coop with nesting boxes; however, only 2 hens will go in there to lay eggs. The hen in question is brooding in a cat carrier I have beside my deck. Should I just let her hatch her chicks then move them to the coop, or move them now? Any suggestions anybody?

Just to make sure, by deck I assume you mean outside decking like a wooden patio and it's not a misstype of desk?
It depends on how safe she is where she is. If she is outside and a predator can get to her then I would put the whole cat carrier in the coop (which I assume gets locked overnight?) and let her sit and hatch there.
