moving on up... houston--->new orleans

We are longtime urban chicken enthusiasts with 4 birds currently: 2 EE's, 1 naked neck, and 1 stray hen who randomly found and moved into our coop 5 years ago. we are moving to new orleans next week and looking for local resources, such as vet, feed store, and possibly someone local to help build a small coop, as we have a small babe which makes it tricky to tackle construction projects.
