Moving quail.

I have 27 quail in a chicken coop that houses 6-8 chickens. I move it around so they can get fresh grass. Could that be messing up their egg production. Is this big enough for all of them could that be why they stopped and wont start. Really I only have 18 in there at the moment the other 9 are in the barn.

In general, 1 square foot per bird is recommended, but more is always better. However, moving their cage will stress them, so it's probably more likely that's why they aren't laying.

It is very common for quail hens to be unsettled easily, I had the same problem until I moved my quail in a free range habitat.
