Moving run to area with ivy?

I'm thinking of moving my run from a muddy area to an area with better ground, covered with leaves, sticks and ivy. Will the ivy (normal not poison) harm the chickens? What if they eat it?

They will be perfectly fine. A lot of people grow ivy in their chicken runs to add shade.

They shouldn't want to eat it - mine will jump in patches of ivy and ignore it.
