moving the coop

If the coop is moved about 50 yards away to another part of the yard will the chickens go back to the coop to roost at night? Or will they be confused?

They will be fine as long as you move the chickens with the coop.

I would do so either with the chickens in the coop or if that is not possible have them penned up and then after the move put them in the coop and let them go out on their own. This way they know exactly where it is.
