moving to a new home

This weekend my husband and his brother are going to finally build a coop for our chickens. They'll get to move out of the dog crate!!

well. it might take longer than expected - we were going to convert one of our sheds to a coop but realized it was going to take more work than originally thought. oh well

No worries, chickens always cost more and take longer than expected.

Yeah, we're converting a shed, and its taking longer than we thought! Took us two weeks just to get all the JUNK out of it.....
We're working on it today, we're cutting sheets of wood for the inside walling - then we're goin gto put up insulation and nail up those pieces we've cut.
We took ou tthe two windows that were in - one is broken so we're going to put wire and wood type shutters in that hole - the other one we will put back in once we've figured out what to put on the outside of the walls (the wood or whatever is on there now is all curling off.)

well, the shed was already empty, the problem was the wood was too rotted out and his brother is of no help. they are back in the crate for at least another week.
