Moving to Oregon Soon!

Hey, thanks everyone for the kind words of welcome, and for the heads up on regulations. I have determined that, while Portland is going to be my original landing spot, eventually I will be in a smaller, less restrictive area for when I actually acquire the feathered friends. Meanwhile, I will attend shows, gatherings, etc, to learn as much as I can about them in advance.

What would be your first chose in chickens??

i would recomend Buff Orpingtons they would do well in the cold.

but you got a lot to chose from,have fun
