I'm sure we'll figure it out. We would for sure be the only campers with chickens!

Awwww I would find a way to keep them. I love my BR's . You can ship them to me and I will spoil them till you can take them to your new home

I know. I love our girls. Maybe we'll just rent a motorhome instead and drive to Colorado.

I am say get large dog kennel and a dog Xpen and park them under the awning. I have had more than one relative live in their motor home with multiple dogs/cats at one time. Two hens outside should be easy. They can handle a 3 hr car ride.

If it is possible I'd go with the wire dog kennel option, we raised our chicks in one for a few weeks while they waited for their coop to be done. Im buying 2 more chicks today who will be moving into the kennel themselves until it is time to integrate them with the rest of the flock. We are military and move every few years. We had to live in a 24 foot rv at a campground for 2 months and then in our own backyard for 2 more months because we had to buy a fixer upper. We had 3 kids, & 2 dogs at the time. There is an awning cover you can buy for your camper/rv that is awesome. It attaches to your awning and becomes an enclosed room attached to the outside of your camper/rv. Ours was almost as long as the rv (18 feet I think) and about 12 feet wide, that was an amazing amount of square footage it added and it did wonders for my sanity once we bought it and got it set up. They only run maybe 300 if that and are well worth it, it would give you some space to hide from rain & stuff and a place to hide your girls

The kids can play out there too when it is raining or too dark to be outside.

I hope you find some way to take them with you! I think a dog crate and small folding yard would work great!

I just googled St. Catherine, too far for me, you need someone in the Buffalo/ Rochester, NY area. Had you been in far eastern Ontario I might have been able to meet you somewhere near the border (I'm 2 hours from Montreal).

I would do the dog kennel option, or a chicken tractor with an area that is enclosed and lockable for more security at night and keep them with you at the campground. Good luck.
