Moving With Chickens

Hi everyone!!
I'm new to this site and to chickens. I currently have 21 14wk old chickens (though 7 will be butchered) some will stay with some relatives but i want to take about 8 chickens with me 12 hours away to our new house, which we will be moving to in 2mths. I was wondering if anyone has every moved with chickens and any tips would be awesome! i will also be taking 6 rabbits with me, so any tips on that would also be welcomed

People transport poultry to shows 12 hours with some regularity. I have travelled 12 hours of driving time with birds on many, many occasions. Feed and water them well the day before and box them up as close to leaving time as possible. If in summer, travel from dusk to dawn to make it cooler. That's about it. It isn't hard.
