Mowing the Lawn

The grass was lookin a bit long, so I took out my lawnmower, a 1 horsepower appaloosa mare.
She rarely gets grass, cause she is huge and at risk for founder. Since riding season started for me she has dropped a ton of weight and went from a 50" girth with an extender to no extender and 3 holes up the billets on each side. So she got a little treat.

I showed my wife the photos and she said that if your lawnmower had been facing the opposite direct, she would have thought that is was me cutting the grass. Hmmm... I wonder what she meant by that?

Cute horse! I am sure she enjoyed the grass! My horse has been doing so much lawnmower duty lately that every afternoon he parks himself in front of the garage next to my truck. I can't decide if he thinks he should live in there because he mows the lawn, or if he is tired of being a Mustang horse and wants to be a Mustang car, or is just waiting for dinner. He will stay there for hours, lol.
