MPC Hatching Egg GIVEAWAY!

I got the call from the local post office this morning that my eggs had arrived and would be ready for pickup after they officially opened. I dropped by and picked them up on my way back from the feed store.

opened up the box to find a nice note congratulating me on the win!!


the eggs were packed real nicely!!


But one was found to be cracked while inspecting them as i carefully unwrapped them.



But no worries, i only expected a dozen eggs but they sent 13 Lavender Ameraucanas and 2 Blue/Black/Splash Marans eggs!!!
I have them resting and will place them in the incubator tomorrow!!

I've read about people using a crayon to seal cracked eggs so we gave it a try and will see how it works out.

Update: the one cracked egg, the crayon didn't work and there was some leaking so it got tossed out a few days ago. It's day 6 and but we candled tonight anyways as the daughter was excited to check. of the 12 remaining Lavender Ameraucanas eggs, 10 show development, two are clear. the two Blue/Black/Splash Marans one is clear the other shows development. not tossing anything out till day 18 tho (unless they start smelling). Everything's looking good, thanks again MPC!!!!

Anyone else get any eggs during the sale that have already been shipped/received and wanna share an update on theirs???

I received my eggs last week all in great condition! I ordered silkies, blue sex link and super blue egg layers. I got 15 total day 7 is Saturday...will update then!
