I am wondering how long it took you to get chicks in the mail from MPC. To make it easy if you want you can put the city they shipped to and how may days it took, and and what time did they arrive at the post office. Im just wondering because i was supposed to get my chicks from them today or tomorrow I just want to know what to expect. Thanks

Congratulations on your new chicks. The shipping time varies according to distance/method shipped, so can only speak for my location. I live in Idaho, so my chicks were shipped express. They were shipped Monday from MPC and I received the call from my distributing center late afternoon the next day. I have ordered twice from them and have been very happy both times with no losses (in the middle of winter). Good luck and be sure to post pictures when your chicks arrive!

I received a shipment from MPC today. They were shipped yesterday morning @ 6:40, and I got called by my local post office this morning just after 8:00 a.m. Out of 25 chicks that were ordered, all 25 plus 2 extras arrived healthy, robust, and vigorous. Never ordered from MPC before, but am thus far giving them a thumbs up!

I have ordered from MPC and received my order in 1-2 days (we live in NW KY) from ship date, depending on time of day shipped. All arrived healthy and well, and the occasional "accidental" roo was refunded as well as replaced. The only time I did not order from MPC as they did not have the breed I wanted at the time, I was extremely disappointed, as the place I ordered from threw in ten large fowl Barred Rock roos that I most certainly did not want with my five Bantam Sultans I ordered, and I will always order from MPC from now on.

I also order products from MPC and they occasionally send me spontaneous 'gifts' for being a repeat customer - chicken treats, etc.

Glad to hear good comments about MPC on here. Was trying to find a hatchery where I can order more Australorp chicks from. My five girls were just killed by a dog. Very upset.

Finishing up on building the coop and had them in a temporary covered pen. Going to finish the coop anyway and get more chicks.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
