Mrs. Frisby and the rats of N.I.M.H.....who didn't love that book??

i read that book and 5 grade and loved it saw the movie to they were okay......not like the book it was way better

I hate how they portrayed Nicodemus in the movie, he's not old and decrepit.

Read it and enjoyed it. It's even become a joke between my uncle and myself, any time it looks like an animal was super intelligent or things can't be explained, "Oh, it must be NIMH rats."

I have the BEST memories of that book! I read it when I was still pretty young and I loved it. I kept teling my mother what a good book it was and how much I wanted her to read it. She read voraciously, but for some reason didn't want to read this one. One day she came to my room in the morning and told me she had just finished the book and loved it. It became one of those shared memories of when you get to shre the joy of a good book with some one else.

Thanks for bringing that up - I hadn't thought of it in years. (I did not like the movie at all.......)

I think thats why my daughter has rats now. Was always her favorite and I think her rats are from NIHM they are very smart though I havent heard them talk yet

I think we read it in 5th Grade too! after we read the book we watched the movie.
