Ms. Pepperpots and Trader Joe's: hatch complete

Okay, final-final update.

The 5th Trader Joe's peep passed away peacefully in her sleep after a day. The 4th one is scampering around just fine and finally starting to fluff out.

When I pulled the other peeps out, I figured the hatch was over and neglected the humidity, which dropped to 50, so this peep was all sticky.

napa valley chickens: Your chicks are adorable! congrats!

I was working on my son's write up with him last night and looking back for our thread, I found yours. Would you mind if we reference some of your stats, too?

And here is our "Joey" at about 8 1/2 weeks old. She is the nicest of our chicks and doesn't mind handling at all; she is very good with the kids. I hope she is a good layer, too. '
