I used to, up until two months ago. Now we have three hawks hanging around that won't stop attacking my chickens. Every time I let them out they are too scared to forage. They just hide in the front of my barn.

awww that's sad. I have a hawk problem. I free range, but your hawk problem sounds worse. usually my roosters protects the girls.

My rooster isn't used to protecting the flock. My old rooster used to chase him any time he went used to the hens. So he doesn't know that he is supposed to keep them safe now. But that's okay. I still love him. lol

That's good! I will be back soon the fog cleared up, I am going to let out the chickens.

Back for a few then I have to let my roosters out. I have a coop away from the flock with 2 roosters, because I have too many roos.
