Right you are, all my meat comes from a local farmer or me, its processed food that the problem. Its dirty has who know what added to it. now there thinking of taxing sugar products but not diet, just what people need more chemicals. In my opinion its the fake food that causes fat people, i.e. "I'm eating deit food so I can eat more of it"

Thanks. It was a fun read. Full of balogna? (I'll use that word since this is a family forum) Probably not a dump truck full but certainly worth a few wheelbarrow's full. You should use reasonable precautions when handling any food, but don't blow a gasket.

You do realize you could kill yourself by drinking too much water? Be reasonable, live long, and prosper.

Heaven help if we don't eat stuff that's been nuked or boiled in chemicals.

Although I'll give the article points for pointing out that factory produce ANYTHING is worse than farm-fresh/free-range.

You know that Egg-Beater stuff you find in the cartons in the egg isle!?!?! That stuff is GROSS!! By every meaning of it. You're talking about lumping eggs together in a factory pot, I believe it was Colored Eggs Farmer that told us FIRSTHAND that the eggs that goes in that stuff are the eggs the get CRACKED in the BATTERY HOUSE!!! Um HELLO!?!?! Does anyone want their food exposed to a house of 80,000 birds? Bad enough that's where the eggs come from, but to have them cracked and exposed in there before lumping them all together in a pot to be poured into cartons? *GAG* Say no to that liquid egg/Egg Beaters stuff. I don't care if it has lower cholesterol, that is just plain SICK!!

Okay, while I'm not hungry, my rant is over. LOL

I walk through the grocery and read labels...95% of things I pick up and look at, I put back on the shelf...if the day comes that I can not have my own eggs and chickens and a bit of a veggie patch, I will be ready to pack it in...I also have peaches and grapes and I grow my own watermelons...ever eat one of those steaks with the magical solution added...I have had better quality library paste...does not even taste like meat let alone beef...I buy half a steer from my friend who runs a small herd of angus cattle every year...raised like cows should be raised...no filthy feed lot...grocery shopping is a gagger...
