Msterious Red Fleather

I have a bizzar question. I posted not long ago about my black Ameraucana drowning and being brought back. On the heels of that he molted and low and behold on his head is a crimson red feather. Now I wonder could it be from the stress to his body when he drowned like when people go through a trauma they get those white streaks in the hair?

He's growing up so pretty. He's 23wks (what's that, 5mths) old.

Okay so feather not really crimson but more of a copper but I am 100%positive that it was NOT there before he drowned. He sits on my lap every night before "bedtime". I would have noticed it. My mind is boggled.
