I need to keep myself out of the other barns and not end up with anymore 'impulse' buys!

Went through everyone this weekend and know for sure we'll be bringing one BS yearling male and a pair of IB yearlings. All 2010 hatch. if anyone is interested in them we can bring them to Mt Hope for you instead of you having to wait for the bidding, just send us an email so we can work out the details. Otherwise, they will be brought for sale. I also have a few chickens I'll be bringing, a blue olive egger roo for sure. love him but I just can't justify keeping him around.

I need to call Mt Hope to see if they will be checking in Wednesday evening, i only see info on Thursday morning (8am) but the sale starts at noon, doesn't seem like enough time to get things ready to go.

Does anyone know if they are there for check in the night before? I know they usually are for the other shows but wasn't sure on this one. I was hoping to be able to drop off Wednesday night so we could avoid the mad rush early Thursday and spend more time drooling over everything on the carts.

If anybody is upset that they can't buy alligators anymore, just come visit & you can have all of 'em you want for free, just walk across our back field down to the bayou.....a variety of sizes, too!

It's an auction, they do also have a few swaps during the year too though. We haven't been to the spring one before but from what we have been told it's HUGE. We've been to the other auctions throughout the year and those are pretty good sized so...Question would be, if you flew in how would you get them back?

Getting really excited, less then a month now! Who else is planning on going, should we plan a meet up one evening? anyone?

This is a great place to go. We always have alot of fun. You never know what will be there.

There is another one also, it is Topeka, its in IN. I'll have to find the info on it and post it all. Very similer to Mt Hope, just different place and times..................
