If I could get them to hatch a few eggs, he would hit the road so hard and so fast. I would take him to the sale, but hes not pinion[?].

If you sale anything there, birds I mean,

you have to let the cage go with the bird,
hmm.png
unless its a swan, they are kept down with the livestock and you have to have something to put them in. Also ALL swans have to be pinion[?]

YAY!!! we will be heading out in a few hours! sitter will be here around 1 and we hope to be on the road shortly after. Only a couple hours away but we are taking these next few days as a delayed 10th anniversary present to each other as well.

sooo looking forward to some time w/DH sans kidlets. VERY busy and exciting week here (had our first pygmy kid earlier than anticipated and with much flare for the dramatic!). I'm ready for a couple days away now. whew!

we've been anticipating and planning for this for months now and it's almost here!
wee.gif
ok now off to finish my chores so I can leave here on time! isn't helping there is an adorable goat kid in the kitchen just begging to be cuddled.

We were thinking of going to this auction to check things out - we are looking to get into raising chickens <I grew up raising them, but haven't for a while> - If you have been to this auction before is it ok to take kids? We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old - we only live just over an hour away so we thought of making a day trip of it. Obviously we would want to take a stroller or wagon for the kids - thoughts anyone??

Yes kids are welcome,

make sure they dont get sold, thou.

We are leaving ours home only bc we want to be able to focus on the birdies plus ours would constantly be asking for something!

one word: COLD! brr, it's freezing here today and about an inch of snow fell this afternoon too! fun times on the drive!

what the peacock!?! can't we catch a break? last fall when we were up we missed a tornado by about 20 minutes--it's path was less then a mile from our hotel. and now snow!? and to think the weather said sunny and in the upper 40's today.
rant.gif
i'm gonna
fl.gif
and hope they are right about the high 40's and sun tomorrow! we are ready either way, brought the ol carhardt overhauls just in case.
