Mt Hope, Ohio Swap This Weekend

does anybody know anything about the ohio national poultry show, like can u buy birds and when it is

Not sure about nationals other than the last 1 was in Columbus, OH in like Oct or Nov. Eighty-Four Auction in Washington, PA is probably about 2 1/2 hrs from you & they have something very similar to Mt Hope every Monday. Mt Hope has livestock & poultry auction every Wednesday. Livestock starts at like 10:30am & poultry goes at 1pm with the rabbits. They have Swap Meets 3 times per year where vendors set up booths or tables & sell everything you can think of including poultry. They also have the Exotics Sale 3 times per year where everything goes auction style over 2-3 days time.

Yes, you can buy birds there and it is usually in November (I think). It is a huge show!

Usually around the 10 of Novemeber. There is a web page under ohio national poultry show, the dates should be up already.

I need two pair of sq chickens and a pair of black silkies I'll probably get them at Mt.hope swat meet on the 18 of may

I have some bantams available that are pretty good quality. The Silkies are breeder quality, but some of the others meet SOP very well. I'll be at the auction on the 20th & have to drive through Tusc County on my way there if you are interested in any of my birds.

The swap meets usually have a wide variety of pure breeds. The Wed auctions tend to be a lot of layers & a lot of mixed banties. I have OEGB, Silkies & Cochin bantams available.
