No Safeguard and Valbazen are given orally. A lot of people give Corid and Safeguard at the same time.

I am one of those that gives both. To the best of my knowledge, Safeguard has no drug interactions with any of the medications commonly used in poultry.

FYI, the most effective Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound for five consecutive days. Any less will might not treat all species of capillary worms. I know it seems like a lot, but I have researched this and had the dose verified by vets.
