My chicken produces these droppings with some sort of mucus like substance. It has the consistency of mucus. Sometimes they look like this but most of the time they have a solid, normal look with the mucus being only in the urates cap. She is doing everything normally, eating, foraging etc. However she is producing weak shelled eggs for quite some time now. I have found nothing like this in the poop chart. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

How old is she? You can give her calcium to help with the weak-shelled eggs, if you aren't doing that already. How hot is it outside? She might be drinking a lot of water, which sometimes results in watery poo. Does she show any possible signs of Cocci? The first picture looks just a tad suspicious. If it's just the poo though, it's harder to pin down (but it also means you don't have to be as concerned). Has she been vaccinated against it?

My chickens have this from time to time and nothing is ever wrong with them. Have you tried giving her oyster shells to help the eggs?

She us 4 years old, I am giving her crushed eggshells but she isn't eating too much of that, it is rather mild here where I live 17 degrees celcius. She isn't showing any signs of cocci, she moves as if everything is OK. Not sure if she has been vaccinated because I got her second hand from a friend.

I would give her oyster shells. She may be low on calcium which would be making her eggs soft. The oyster shells will give her all the calcium she needs.

Okay, then it isn't the heat. I agree in saying that the oyster shells are the best supplement. Right now it's hard to figure out why she let out such a weird poop, so it's really just a waiting game. See if it goes away, or if she shows any new symptoms. That way we can narrow it down some.

Update: My hen is now lethargic and has no appetite except for treats. She laid an egg yesterday and the day before that.

Is she still pooping? Is her crop empty in the morning?
Since she’s still laying I’m leaning towards worms or a digestive issue.
But with the weak shells it’s possible one may have broken inside at some point, starting an infection.
Does she ever lay soft shelled eggs?

She is still pooping, the amount of mucus has decreased a bit but it is still there. Her crop is empty in the mornings. She did lay a soft shelled egg about a week ago, never laid another one since
