We finally quit at dark…..the tractor auger didn’t quite work as well for us as we’d hoped so we set about 7 posts with the hand auger and then I went to feed. The kids and piggies were playing bowl roulette and Natasha chomped down on my pinky!

This is Bellamy…….she will be coming home as soon as I get a trailer put together

This is Zeb.....He joined us yesterday. He hasn't been handled a lot since last fall so I didn't want to crowd him too much until he gets more settled in.

They’re both breeding stock…..I went with adults so I can have a calf next spring. The calves will either be sold or grown out for meat and hopefully we can get some milk too

I’m picking up a trio of registered Idaho Pasture Pigs this weekend too that will be breeders for raising our own pork and breeders to sell. We thought we would have to travel a great distance but actually found them about 40 miles away

Once we get everyone home and settled in, my homestead will be nearly complete!

We picked up a feed and water trough for Zeb today. He seems to be a little more settled now. He will get closer to us but still giving him his space. We also got a little more done on the front fence.
