We started moving critters this week. …..busy day today
Finish getting acclimation pen ready for ducks, senior pictures for mini (way late )
Pick up eggs at post office and working to get pools opened.

We got them early for the other 2 boys, but the photographer we used retired during covid it took me several months to find a new photographer. And now I finally have some walls to hang them all up! (and grandma has been very irritated that we hadn't gotten them yet he's the youngest grandbaby)

My friends all had their moms do the photos and my brother hired his best friend to do his for him (which I love since he's supporting a friend and that friend is incredible with his cameras)

I just am not a fan of my picture being taken. Plus I guess I just don't see the point. There are other photos of me when I was a senior, so what makes those photographs less special than ones I specifically posed and paid for.

Senior photos aren't for you. They're for family and friends, and for sending out in grad announcements so people send you money

I could go on a big ol' discourse about the difference in photos between "paid for" and "other snapshots", and how if you can't immediately tell the difference you're wasting money, but there's not really any reason to.

I look at it as more for parents, grandparents etc than for the senior it’s kind of like a right of passage…..obligation etc like baby pictures, family photos etc.
The photographer I chose was awesome! I started with a 1 hour, 2 outfit session…..he spent the better part of the day on the photo shoot we took studio photos, riverfront photos with mini’s motorcycle and then he traveled to our house and took photos with cap and gown and several of my critters! I have a feeling I’m going to have a difficult time choosing photos and will probably be purchasing the full digital package in addition to the prints I need and what’s included in the package

I received my bantam Cochin hatching eggs today, but I can’t find my incubator i was sure I packed it but it must still be at the other house in a different tote
