Muddy’s homestead expansion journey!

Thank you! We started moving today…..i only made the last trip when we picked up our living room furniture and got it into the garage. I left my phone in the truck We’re putting in a full day of cleaning and moving tomorrow and then not much wednesday due to storm threat (and I went ahead and scheduled patients) Hopefully we will have enough done by Friday to actually stay and relax a little for the mini’s 18th birthday on Saturday and Easter Sunday.

you're living my dream right now . Except i want more than 3 acres, but will happily take what i can get as long as its outta the city! Im still working the two jobs to get this place fixed up to sell. But i keep finding more issues

Unfortunately the previous owner did not take the thought and care that you are putting in before selling so we've got alot more cleaning and work to do......but things are progressing better than I was initially expecting. We managed to get our living room halfway put together so we can sit on the couch and watch TV. And I got sheets on the bed we're heading back to son's house now to cook dinner and feed critters. Will grab more stuff and hopefully get to sleep in our new bed tomorrow night!

I came back to an unexpected kindling I hadn’t gotten to repair the boxes so they all got pushed out or fell out on the ground 7/8 were cold but still alive. I got them moved to a nesting box in the bunny barn with fresh shavings and as much of momma’s fur as I could gather. momma cares for them and some at least survive.

We just brought the dogs home for first time....poor tater trying to keep up with the boys

Finally sitting on my couch for a few minutes! We stayed outside with the dogs, unloaded the truck and trailer, put the kids to bed, and I gave beans her medicines. Mr muddy assembled the dogs’ new beds while I put some stuff away.
I found the first run-in shelter for the goats…..we have to pick it up tomorrow morning….about 150 miles round-trip.
