This IS a fun thread! I have a young (6wk) pair of WH and thought I may end up having to get a couple more hens once breeding season hits. I can keep them separated for the majority of the time, but my neighbor has a beautiful Rouen cross male, 1 Muscovy female, a Pekin that's a couple weeks older than mine and a Rouen and mallard that are only a week older. I'd LIKE to get a couple of the Rouen/scovey ducklings, just to take some of the pressure off my WH female! I'm under the impression the crosses will be infertile before is even get them, so no need to worry about incubation? Maybe they'd even help hatch a few WH eggs since my WH female is a bit uppity already. Who knows if she'll end up broody.
With all the names of scovey crosses I've seen, not even sure what they'd be called!
