do the females still lay eggs? and if they do theyd be fertile right so could you breed a non mule drake to a mule female and still get duckling

Yes they do. However I do not think you will get ducklings from her. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You will not necessaraly get eggs from the hens.

Mules and hinnies cannot reproduce. Both males are sterile and only the hinny females lay eggs (though they cannot hatch). If you have Muscovy and Pekin together, the chances are poor that they will cross but if they do, a hinny will probably be the result as Pekin males can catch Muscovy females easier than Muscovy males can catch Pekin females.

I have heard that only if the mules mother is a scovy that they will lay eggs, if the mother is a mallard derived they will not lay.
