Multi flock feed question

I went to the feed store yesterday to get some more chick crumble, but they were out so I had to buy multi flock crumble. The chick grower has 18% protein, and the multi flock 22%. Is this too much protein for 4 month old chicks and adult hens? If it is, should I mix some layer feed into it?

They can have that much protien as the 4 month olds are young and still growing and the adult hens can have that much temporarily
