A very old thread but the OP is still responding, so.... get a treadle feeder that holds enough for the entire flock. A pound will feed 4 birds each day. One feeder can handle fifteen to twenty birds IF the pecking order is long established. The more feeders the less competition and you have a back up should one feeder malfunction, which is rare.
