Ah, over here we have French Marans, which have feathered legs, and Marans, which do not. If he were Dominique, he would have a rose comb, however.

I’m very new so don’t laugh but, what do you guys mean by rose comb? Color or shape?

And don't worry-- I grew up on a farm, and I still call everything that's not a straight comb a pea comb when I'm not actively thinking about it.
He isn't a Dominique. They have rose combs. Actually, in the US, most Marans don't have feathered legs. The French variety is the one that does.Actually, Apon closer look, 1 Is a BR hen and the Rooster is aDominique
And Sneebsey, It isn't a Cuckoo Maran, they have feathered legs, and darker barring.
I can get a picture of her foot tomorrow maybe, she’s a bit wild but the 5th toe is small. It could be a spur bud but I have no idea. These pictures have a better view of her feet but still not great#1. Cuckoo Maran

Could I look at a pic of the CM foot? I've never heard of any of those breeds having five toes. Are you sure you aren't courting a spur bud or someone?
