New to the forum and getting reacquainted with chickens.
The wife and I started with 10 chicks back in January, unbelievable that we still have 10 and they are getting into the full swing of egg laying.
We have been getting a few VERY large eggs! Cracked 2 of the largest ones and one was a double yolk and the other a triple! Thought we should go buy lottery tickets! ( No winners! So much for that theory!
)
Have read a couple previous post of others with triple yolks, but from Google it says it is very rare? Thanks for any input.
Our birds are Speckled Sussex, Americana and Easter eggers.
