Has anyone else had a problem with 'Mum Bandits'?? I couldn't figure out what kept happening to my beautiful Mums- until they were caught in the act!

they surely enjoyed themselves, so I couldn't be mad! But I had no idea they even ate Mums!?

Mine are landscape bandits. They have destroyed the little landscaping I had, including the yard...literally tear up the grass by burrowing their bills down into it and digging around. They have too much fun and I don't have the heart to chase them off.
This lovely mud patch used to be grass....

Water is meant to be played in by ducks and small children.

You have GRASS?
My guys didn't touch petunias, begonias or coleus... to my surprise.
But they love to root... like hogs with bills.
Lol.

LOL, well no but they ate my Hosta's they had bloomed and were going dormant but man they chewed them down. They pluck flowers too if they can get them, or often my Pekin squash stuff by sitting on it.

The mums were up higher i just planted them before we dropped in temp so far they have ignored them. -So far- plants vs ducks... honestly it's a crap shoot on who will win.
