I've had my pekins around 2 years but only had my rooster for a year (hatched him at work). So this year I thought I'd have a go at hatching some eggs, but only a few, then start properly next year. No incubator so I left 5 eggs under a broody. This is the only egg that hatched, several hens went broody at once so kept egg swapping, 2 weren't fertile, 2 eggs went missing (?!) and one was left....

And this is today at 4 weeks old!
His dads a millefleur and mum is black and white mottled. Obviously he's black and white mottled so I've found 2 blue and white mottled hens that I hope to pair him with in a few weeks time
