I'm in Murrieta as well, and would love to know what ultimately happened. I keep backyard chickens, and have had no complaints from neighbors. Heck, the dogs on either side of me are far more of a nuisance that my chicks will ever be.

I would love to get the ordinance changed, to make at least 2 chicks legal. Heck, even Temecula allows them.

I know this thread is somewhat old, but I'd love to hear from either of you and other Murrieta (tract home) residents.

Exactly, Teery. Every surrounding town, and most of Riverside County allow them. Murrieta is the only one that doesn't, unless you're on a 1/2 acre or more.
