I have 2 ducklings 2-3 weeks old. They seem to be eating and drinking fine. I'm new to ducks. Had them bout 5 days. Worried they seem to be just sitting down they eat when I feed. I was letting them out of cage they walked all over now they seem to just sit down. Very worried

Non medicated chick / duck starter/ grower.
I just feed em a bunch a times a day not sure if its to much or not enough. Also some bugs from outside and I picked grass and stuff from my yard.

I fed our ducklings 24/7, always with water so they won't choke.

There are some good food and water setups on the forum, see if a search shows you something that makes sense for you.

I would give them poultry vitamins-electrolytes-probiotics just in case, and be sure they have a chance to swim in warm water while you watch them carefully for maybe 5 to 10 minutes at a time, and keep an eye on them. It may just be a stage they are going through. Do they ever walk, and they just sit down alot, or do they not walk at all?

My Muscovy ducklings do this they will walk then plop down run plop down, not sure what it means but it is very normal in all ducklings that have hatched here. As long as they are eating good and like Amiga said they need to have food and water 24/7 at this age. and poop looks normal or what looks normal for ducks then what your seeing is normal. give them plenty of exercise outside on days when it's warm so they can build up the muscles in their legs, supervised only and swim time supervised only.

Ok :). I let them swim in my bathtub the last 2 days but only for a few minutes. So it's normal for em to that ?? Maybe I can relax then I just adore these sweet guys. I've had chickens but never ducks. I got them an electrolyte powder that has vitamins added. But then was afraid to give it to em cause it says for hot days. So is good for everyday ? Do they need grit I've read yes I've read no. Do they need extra besides the food they eat now ? I just love em so much I wanna do good for em.

I also just think they ran round more when I first got em. Ugh I can't stop worrying over em.

They do walk but seem to plopping down today and they do to be lazier today i guess also they don't like to eat out of bowl they like it scattered

Swimming is good for them just make sure they don't chill and never leave them unattended. yes they need grit if your feeding them any thing other than their starter. Electrolyte powder is okay to give maybe a couple times a week but I don't think they would need it everyday if they are getting a good quality feed. My ducklings/ducks love meal worms[dried] they get a handful a day as a treat. it's not too late to get some extra info either. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/750869/raising-and-caring-for-ducklings#post_10611711
