Musckovy throwing up- HELP

Thank you. I wasn't rubbing her neck at the time. Plus she kind of shakes her head side to side when she's does it. I gave her some more water. Fresh stuff and she had a few more little spits. Her bathroom habit seems normal. She is calm and quiet and snuggled against me now.
Besides what you're already doing, taking her to a vet to determine the extent of any internal injuries is the only thing I can think of.

I've had a chicken who survived a fox attack, and two who survived hawk attacks. Also, chickens who I've temporarily saved from a fox attack who died later.

No experience with muscovies being attacked or vomiting (except one who was killed overnight) but the anatomy is similar to chickens, if not the same.

I only had a chicken vomit because of an impacted crop.

I posted this on the other thread, copying it here so it's all in one place.

Can you post a picture of the puncture wound? Also, look her over very well. Feathers hide wounds. The dog may well have caused injuries elsewhere.

Honestly, with the fact that she was attacked by a dog, was bleeding out of her nares for a while, and is now throwing up, she really needs to see a vet. I would call and make an appointment ASAP. A puncture wound in the head is pretty serious.

Also, keep the dog and the duck separate at all times now. It doesn't matter that the dog had a reason for attacking her, the dog has now shown he will attack the duck if she does something he doesn't like. Maybe that's eating his food now. Maybe later the dog doesn't like her being near you, or maybe the duck walks past the dog and the dog doesn't want it in its space. Maybe the duck nibbles at the dog a little and the dog doesn't like that either. The point being, they shouldn't be allowed together any more, because animals can be unpredictable, and the duck could do something at any time to set the dog off. So, it's no longer safe for them to be together.

I think she was shaking because she was traumatized and the cats made a loud noise and it scared her. She seems back to normal now. Thank you

Glad she's feeling better, but I would still seriously consider a trip to the vet. Whatever damage the puncture wound did caused internal bleeding, as evidenced by the blood coming out of her nares. Her sinuses may have been damaged. And also make sure to give her a very thorough looking over for other wounds - puncture wounds are nasty and easily become infected. And, make sure to always keep her and the dog away from each other so there's no repeat of this incident :)
