Hi everyone I live in Portugal ..my muscovy female abandoned her eggs in a storm the fertile ones I put in an incubator . We've been through storms no electric had them stuffed down my bra you name it it happened .out of 5 all still alive...but ...2 pipped internally 3 days ago ..I'm new to muscovies but not bantams ..I made small safety holes in the 2 that pipped ..but turned the holes facing away from the fan..have misted regularly the other 3 eggs I do cool down and misting .. temp is 37.4 i37.5 in the fan incubator ..humidity 70 ..to 72 ..I'm concerned knowing my eggs that we've eaten . The shells are like concrete and always the white of the egg is sticky and thick like glue..they are fed raw veggies fruit and grain mix along with raiding the land on their own ....When I made the safety holes even though humidity has been good lately ..the shells are like concrete ! ..I'm concerned the 2 now that internally pipped have now been 3 days ..also the humidity up in the mountains here is crazy ..so I had a job early on keeping humidity down even running the incubator dry for a while ..so I'm wondering if the membrane is just sticky and glue like ..they are not peeping but are still moving with their bills in the aircell..I have no idea what day they are its been purely guess work re lockdown ...although I have assisted bantams I'm a little reluctant re intervention knowing just how hard muscovies are to incubate surprised I've got this far but also don't want to loose them this far on any suggestions grately appreciated
