Muscovies and ponds?

I've had 2 muscovies for about a week and I have their food next to my pond and I've never seen them in the water. Do they ever swim or do they like land better?

they get waterlogged easier than other ducks. I have three and dont even have a pond. Sometimes they will jump into the waterbowl , but rarely, maybe twice a week.

mine love to swim for about 10 minutes and get out and then a couple of hours they are back in, they dont stay in long, but it seems to me they love to be in the water, i've heard a lot of different answers for this, mine are just weird i guess lol, because i've seen some that wont even go in the water at all!

That's how mine are...I took them down to the pond and they ran back up the bank...I was really wanting some that would stay in the pond most of the time but as long as they don't come poop on the carport floor like my chickens did, they can stay..
