Muscovies fly?

They fly like a hawk. I have seen them everywhere!! And they can land on land, not just water like some waterbirds.

probably lol THey're at least 12-14 lb each. Haven't actually weighed them.

I just pinion the right wing on the babies.. that way I don't have to worry about them growing out flight feathers (and me forgetting to clip them) plus I'm also legal with the feds that way

Our female flies. She left for an entire day. We thought she was gone, but she did come back the next day. Her mate is here with all her other duckies and goose friends. She still flies around the yard just to prove she can

I thought our male couldn't fly just because he has angel wing.

He seems perfectly happy though.

They most definitely fly! My hens did a peek-a-boo a few months ago flying up on my house peeking through the skylights

my drakes have never gotten but a few inches off the ground but their big boys, all mine are full flight and don't leave the farm their all free ranged during the day.

My young Muscovies fly until the young males get too large, the females may fly their entire lives.

Yep, they fly, especially the females and males that are fit and trim.
