Muscovy behavior Question

Love reading some explanation on Muscovy behavior! Any idea as to what it means when my Drake's look like Elvis with the puffed up hair?

Usually alarmed by something or aggression towards each other. Depends on context.

Our first muscovy drake was named Elvis for it

My Muscovy drake does the Elvis impersonation when he is upset about our gander in his space! Lol.and usually means he is going to kick butt if he doesn’t move on out. Especially if the neck is vibrating too.

My boy talks a lot, hissing and huffing. It's normal
However if it's a long, drawn out, vibrating hiss while standing very still then that is aggressive. Same with stretching his neck along the ground and shaking himself off like a dog.

Hey, I've got a question. So I've been noticing my drake muscovy mounting the female muscovy which indicates mating however, it looked very aggressive when he was repeadly biting the females head? I'm not sure if the female wants it or not but, should I do anything about it? The other ducks seem scared when it happens.

It should be okay, from what I've seen, even when they want it, it looks rough to us (especially when they are in tue water, it looks like he is trying drown her) but they are usually unharmed.
Some of our females run from the drake, some sit down voluntarily.

How many females do you have to one drake?
Less than three can result in overbreeding.

Hi Miss Lydia! I have a question, so today, my Drake Muscovy mounted ontop of my drake Weleh Harlquin but it doesn't work like that. Can Muscovies not tell the sex of other vreeds?

Yes and he is showing dominance more than wanting to mate.

Mine will only have the sweeter heater but I think they will be fine as long as they all have shelter and deep bedding. They are pretty tough little things

At the time 2 drakes and 2 females however one of the drakes is a Welsh Harlquin. We are trying to rehome him.

Should be okay, just keep an eye out for bald patches on their necks
