Muscovy behavior Question

So today, I was refilling my muscovies water bucket and when I stepped in the run, I heard the loudest hiss ever from my male muscovy to the point where It sounded more like a huff. Is it angry at me? He's acting very moody at the moment.

My boy talks a lot, hissing and huffing. It's normal
However if it's a long, drawn out, vibrating hiss while standing very still then that is aggressive. Same with stretching his neck along the ground and shaking himself off like a dog.

He's shaking his tail alot while huffing.

My Muscovy drake loves to talk to me and wag his tail. It's typical behavior for Muscovy's.

I love it when Cupcake talks to us. Tons of huffing, hissing, tail wagging and body shaking. He is awesome. If he is talking to you, consider it a privilege.

He's shaking his tail alot while huffing.

Yeah, that's completely normal, they do it for a lot of reasons, just depends on the context.
Sounds like your boy is excited
