Muscovy color genetics

I need some help with the color genetics of my muscovies. I thought that blue was a recessive gene, but my blue female had all blue babies. My only male is a black piebald. Can someone tell me what's going on? Am I wrong about the color or how the genetics work?

Blue is an incomplete dominant. So, one blue gene is all that's needed to have blue babies. Breed two blues together and you can get silvers, which have two copies of the gene.
