Short Story About Duck/Photo: Montie is the last baby left from my last bunch of duckling. i almost got rid of her as a youngster but am Very happy I waited to see how she colored.

Short Story About Duck/Photo: Sid is one of the prettiest birds I have had yet, i think. I had just helped him up onto the fence for his treats and 'bath time'. My scovies every once in a while will line up in this spot and wait to be sprayed with the hose (theyre so weird!) and then get treats afterwards. He is currently going through his first molt...theres little blue feathers Everywhere!!

But first, a question: What category would a 2 month old female fall into? She doesn't seem to still be a duckling, but not a hen yet, either... I'll go with Best Hen for now, but let me know if I should change it.

Short Story About Duck/Photo: Spazzy is a rather new addition. I bought her as a Muscovy/Pekin Mule, although I just cant see the Scovy in her! I really have no purpose for her but when i saw her i couldnt say no! I think she is just so pretty, she will go in my 'extras' pen this coming breeding season. probably test some eggs to make sure.

She's VERY pekin shaped in every way, even through the head & beak. Her 'leggings' do remind me of some of my muscovy though.
