Muscovy Dad

By 3 months drakes are usually larger than females. If they are all the same size it is likely that they are all the same gender. They should also be getting to the age that the males will stop making a variety of sounds and only make a huffing noise. Females will continue to make a variety of sounds including a hiss similar to the males huff. The hiss is usually heard only when irritated or broody, but males will often huff when greeting others.

That’s what everyone tells me too. I was also told to wait until 5 months. They’re all the same size and look the same 😂 I’m just glad they’re healthy. But I want to make sure that they’re not all drakes or only 1 of them is a duck.
